Toddlers gain independence through exploration and knowledge of their surroundings, as well as the acquisition of problem-solving skills.
Cognitive Development
Toddlers acquire creative and critical thinking skills as they learn more about their surroundings.
Language Development
Toddlers' communication skills improve as they learn to use sounds, gestures, body language, sign language, and, eventually, oral and written language, as well as respond to and understand others.
Physical Development
Toddlers learn to coordinate and control gross and fine muscle movements while also developing a knowledge of health and safety concepts.
Social and Emotional Development
Toddlers learn about their own feelings and their relationships with others, such as family, friends, and community members. They also improve their capacity to connect with others and develop self-awareness.

Hello! I am Mrs. Jenn; I am a St. Mary's County native. I live with my husband and our three children, 18, 13, and 5. They are my pride and joy! I have been a stay-at-home mom and childcare provider to others for many years; now that my kids have grown, I am thrilled to be starting my childcare career with Minds N Motion! I chose to work with children because ever since I was a little girl, I always wanted to be a teacher and work with kids. So I decided to follow my dreams now that my kids are grown. It's never too late to follow your dreams!
Watching children grow, learn, and develop is such a blessing! I am super excited to join the Minds N Motion team and help your child through their earliest learning experiences!
In my free time I enjoy spending as much time as I can with my husband and kids! We are an avid motocross family. I enjoy watching my kids ride and being at our local track, Budds Creek. We love taking trips, being at the beach, and being outdoors.

Hi there! My name is Angela, and I’ve been a proud member of the Minds n Motion team since 2022. I have a special fondness for school-age children, though my heart also has a soft spot for my lively twos! When I’m not in the classroom nurturing young minds, I love escaping to my vacation home in West Virginia, where I find relaxation and inspiration in the beautiful surroundings. I look forward to sharing more about my experiences and passions!
